Privacy Policy — Kaizer CRM

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Kaizer CRM is an internal salon-management application operated by KAIZER Salon, 1019 Avenue P, Unit 303, Brooklyn, NY 11223 (“we”, “us”). It is used only by the salon and its staff to manage appointments, clients, payments and bookkeeping. It is not offered to the public and has no external users.

What data we process

Client contact details (name, phone, email, address), appointment and service history, and payment records needed to run the salon. When connected to QuickBooks Online, the application creates and updates customer records in the salon’s own QuickBooks company so that bookkeeping stays in sync.

How QuickBooks data is used

The application accesses the salon’s QuickBooks Online company solely to create and update customer records and, where enabled, sales records for the salon’s own transactions. Data obtained from QuickBooks is used only inside Kaizer CRM for the salon’s operations. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

Bank data (Plaid)

The application can connect to the salon's own business bank account through Plaid so that bank transactions can be imported into the salon's books. The connection is made by the salon owner, who is the account holder. Bank credentials are entered in Plaid's own window and are never seen, transmitted or stored by this application; we receive only an access token and the resulting transaction records (date, description, merchant, amount, account).

Bank data is used for one purpose only — bookkeeping for this salon. It is never sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to build profiles. Plaid access tokens and transaction descriptions are encrypted at rest in the database with a key held in a root-only file on the server; they are never sent to the browser. A bank account can be disconnected at any time in Settings → Bank feed, which deletes the stored token and revokes the connection at Plaid.

Storage and security

Data is stored on the salon's own server, encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2/1.3 only) and protected by password access, role-based permissions, firewall and daily backups. Bank data and third-party access tokens are additionally encrypted at rest. Server access is by SSH key only; password login is disabled.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept while the salon needs them for operations and legal record-keeping. Clients may ask the salon to correct or delete their personal data by contacting us at the address below. Disconnecting QuickBooks in the application removes stored QuickBooks tokens immediately.
